iTouch Went Dead Charging

So this is a first, my battery for my iTouch is literally went dead while I was charging it.

If mine went dead, I'd buy a ipad 2.

Battery replacement will probably cost less than a new one.

iPad 2 wouldn't suit my needs though, I'm only using it for convenient music.

You may still be under warranty as long as you havent jailed it or inflicted physical damage on it intentionally.
