Israel launched an airstrike today in Gaza that killed the military commander of Hamas, Ahmed Al-Jaabari.
"Within minutes of the death of Ahmed Al-Jaabari, big explosions were rocking Gaza, as the Israeli air force struck at selected targets just before sundown, blasting plumes of smoke and debris high above the crowded city."
"A second Gaza war has loomed on the horizon for months as waves of Palestinian rocket attacks and Israeli strikes grew increasingly more intense and frequent."
So who didn't see this coming? Seemed inevitable with all of the things that have been happening lately.
Israel has been at war since it was founded. My dad was an Israel Paratrooper from age 18-21. Even though they weren't in a declared war with any country while he served they still went on combat missions.
