Peoplea always say "im not gunna try, or i hate spam" during this contest, then they check the leader boards and see that they're coming 1st or close to 1st, then they chuck everything they previously said out the window just to win some pixels. I guess temptation is too much to resist for some.....
 
Hah I agree with you mate I do not really like contests that encourage posting (spamming). But what can we do about it eh?
 
I agreed, some people just take this contest too seriously..

Also i don't like this kind of contests, it increases the spam..
 
Yer, TE really needs to find some new contest ideas. Every time we have one people ALWAYS spam, no matter how much they say they wont.

Fuck that I already won 100m before and basically gave it back to Runegear via Group payment
I'm happy not having cash on my account so I don't get more pissed when I'm banned -From Runescape-
+ you get a different prospective when your sitting on the sidelines instead of Racing for the #1 spot

Ive already reported a few posts I think
Spamers will be dealt with if RG staff can handle doing their job X3
Since with the addon of users Posting went up Then with teh addon of the contest Its going to triple at least and I think there is only like 4 staff Hope they can deal with it =P

I never stated anything, nor did I support this contest method. So.... this one isn't on me.
 
Domcon has been spamming threads all day, and is going all out spam poster just try and win. I personally would give up my award if I even got last place, because I'd rather earn it myself then being a post whore.
 
I never really liked these kind of contests that require posting, etc. It always ends up like this. But who am I to say that?
 
I like how staff's automatic response is that they're busy, yet none of the spam is actually being dealt with properly and points aren't being removed. Just cheats people who are legitimately trying to win out of it.

Staff are busy, at the moment their is like 1 report coming in every 5 seconds >.> Spam is being dealt with.
 

Posts aren't even being posted at that rate, so no. Not to mention, you guys still have time to have a full homo discussion about gay names for the forum halloween theme? Jeez...

Ah, Pro, the guy who wants the award for stopping spam, lol. I remember him nominating himself for it. Well, if they're valid reports, it's fair enough. I hope Staff are actually dealing with them though and making sure appropriate punishments are given in terms of competition points being deducted, because right now it doesn't seem as if that's happening to the biggest spammers.

Quit your whining. We are handling everything. No one is actually spamming. So just don't worry what we do, just worry about yourself.
