is this a scam?

So yesterday i bought an IG account from someone on here that i thought is trusted, i thought its kinda sketchy because the user bought the account and tried to sell it, an HOUR after buying it, he was advertising it saying it gets around 500-1000 likes, and even told me it was supposed to get 500-1000+ likes, he even had a picture uploaded that got around 100+ (first hour), then 400+ ( 2 hours later), which i find VERY sketchy, anyways i asked him if it was botted before purchasing, i wake up today to see the account only getting 50+ likes! not even 200,300, only 50! is this a scam? because if its a scam im going to be posting a thread, if the user does not reply via PM so i need to know please


Plesae note, i never ever posted a scam report, and i don't really care that much im just mad that people can do such thing.

false advertising is still a scam, i bought an account based on what the seller said which turns out to be all FAKE, no?

Although the activity on the account was misleading you still have possession of it, correct?
It's not like you can go and open a scam report on them now.
If you no longer want it just resell it. nbd.
 
You bought the account due to its stats, but it turns out the stats are fake. I would definitely consider this a scam, a well thought of scam tbh.

Do you understand business? He legitly said the account gets blalbalba, i bought it depending on the stats, it turns out to be that he botted the likes and advertised it falsely, that is a scam in my opinion anyways im looking for more opinions, responses like glitters are pissing me off, if i want to resell the account is not even worth 1$.

but that does not mean give me stupid opinions, im pretty sure that was a scam i just wanted more LEGIT opinions. Anyways i don't want to argue.

I would definitely consider this scam. I guess the type of photo uploaded could be a factor, but being you I'd assume not.

Oh bro trust, The minute i uploaded a picture i pm'ed the user saying '' You botted the likes, eh?'' he did not reply. I guess i know my shit too well! thanks color. I like the responses so far! its in my favor!
 
It's a scam in my eyes. But before you do anything, ask a staff.
 
Awesome guys, just what i thought, fake advertising, botted the likes right before selling, defiantly fishy.
 
This is no question a scam. I'm lucky to have never had this happen to me.
