get the email on a gamertag?
basically i lost the tag 'illegally" email on it, i have all the billing/security info/pass but i have no idea what the email on it is,
would it be possible to call ms and get them to add a different alt with me having every single piece of information on it?
 
Phone support, and tell them you forgot the email address on the account. They will send a security code to the alternate email or phone number on the account and once you give them the code they will you the email address.

Can I do this with the same problem but with an account I know none of the information on. I forgot the email but I think my alt is still on the same account.

As long as you remember the alternate email they'll send a code to THAT email and it should still work

So basically what they do is they have to verify with you some way that you're the account owner and not a hacker by simply sending a code to every possible Alternate Email/Phone Number on the account. If you have at least one of these on there you should be able to get access into the account again. Sometimes the agents are retarded and don't really help you but 99% of the time they will send out codes to everything. Just say you forgot the email and tell them the Gamertag
 
What if they ask me the details of the account? I'm actually being genuine and did forget the email because I haven't used the account in over 3 years.

I am calling MS right now, i'll tell you if they ask for any other info than the alt and gamertag,
 
Everything on the support end is encrypted for the account owners protection. Only higher departments like the Enforcement Team or Engineering Team have full access to the account. After you verify with them the code that they send to you, you can give them access into the account which is how they give you the email address.
 
@chill I just gave them my gamertag and talked about the issue I was having and then they just emailed me a verification code, and from there I got the email.
