Not necessarily, usually if you screen-share or w/e using a RAT to spy on someone it's slow and the response time is really laggy because the RAT is traveling to a different internet, country, state, ect.
But if you were like lets say..across the street or even upstairs in your house on another computer, the response time would be almost instant.
Not to hate on your post or anything ofc. Teamviewer is the best though ^.^

First of all your logic is flawed. Even if a rat is in the room beside you, it's gunna be laggy as it's a rat. It's not always smooth, it's not continuous streaming. You have less lag with Teamviewer no matter where you are imo.
I would use what chewy recommended.
