we nepal are rich in water ..but we still are facing maximum 18hr loadshedding in winter here in nepal.....do u have loadshedding problem in your country.......

18 hours is a lot! We (india) does have some load shedding, but its not that bad except for a few places.
I dont face any such problems because i am in a metropolis.

yup there is. it was on ZAMBOANGA CITY, Jan. 20 (PNA) -- The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), which handles the transmission of power to electric distributors in Mindanao, is adopting the "load shedding" scheme to maintain the balance of Mindanao's power system.

Load-shedding is a regular affair in the cities and towns. It means the suspension of electricity for the time being. Load-shedding occurs mainly in the big cities and in the industrial areas. The causes of load-shedding are many. There is shortage of power supply in proportion to our need. Illegal connection of electricity is also responsible for this. Load-shedding paralyses city life and hampers production in mills and factories. The students, patients in the hospital and businessman due to load-shedding. They should be economical in the use of electricity. It can be solved by setting up more power stations.

Yess!! There are places where it occurs for almost 12-13hrs a day !
Luckily not at the place i live!
