Is RSGP a currency?

I have been wondering this for a while....does sales involving accepting runescape gold for something belong in the seller's section or trader's topics.

I always considered it a currency but others seem to have a mix of beliefs. Thanks for clearing this up.
 
RSGP means Runescape Gold Pieces.

It means the GP in runescape.

I understand this but is it considered a virtual currency or virtual item?
 
It can be considered both, RSGP is a virtual item that you can sell or trade. Depending what you do with this GAme CURRENCY, it could go into different sections

I see where you're coming from.
Like for example; Gold for Money is a virtual item case, while on the other hand, gold for an auth is trading.

Am I correct?
 
if your saying a currency, does this count. i bought a big mac for 1mil runescape money. when you think about it, its only 90c. lol kids at school and there noobness.
