I want to bot freely, don't feel like losing 100m+, so here's my question:

Is it infected? I've heard two sides to the story on powerbot. Don't trust anything for shit on there.

Rsbot is in my opinion the safest bot client out there.

It was before, just taking precautions b/c of recent events.
 
Rsbot never got infected!!!! Rsbots.net that is.
Powerbot is very risky and you could lose your account be very safe about using it.
 
RSBot/Powerbot, is safe atm, but there will be another attack coming from Ghost's own words, they are working on the new infection, but as on this current time, it's safe.
 
Xfer your stuff to another account then bot if your worried

Powerbot has some serious risks so I wouldn't consider using their bot anymore. I suggest going to rsbots.net and using there bots.
 
Let me answer you're question, I am part of the coding for Powerbot.Powerbot was infected by Arbibots, Arbiter and Jacmob. Every version besides the newest (2.28) is infected, i would recommend deleting all the files, changing you're passwords and download the newest bot currently located Here or click this link http://www.powerbot.org/go/download. If you have any problems/concerns please private message me here on this site as i would love to become a helpful part of this community :wink:​
 

I've haven't used powerbot since June of last year... when it was rsbot. Might have been earlier. I also doubt you can code well, or if you are even part of their development team. You can't even use proper grammar. Lol'd at the usage of "you're". Please spew your bullshit to someone who might care.

I don't have the paypal money to buy bots, waste of money imo. The farthest I'm going to go for paying wise for runescape is membership.

Probably not, but do you want to take the chance? Also, such clients would more likely just steal your info, rather then be infected. Unless they've got an auto updater. Then either is possible.
