iPhone help needed

Well basically my iPhone fell in water and I took it out quickly. It didn't show waterlogged or anything but afterwards I turned it off, It was at around 9% battery. Afterwards I went to sleep for about 2 hours, when I woke up I tried turning it on but it wouldn't at all, not even show me the dead battery logo. I plugged it into the wall and now it's turning on only showing the apple logo for about 5-10 seconds and afterwards it shuts off, and repeats it over and over again, tried the home and power button trick, nothing. Also I was able to make calls after it dropped and all. The FIRST time I turned it back on it sad the battery was at 100%, when it was turned off it was only at 9%, thanks. Looked on google, it told me to restore my iphone but it won't connect to itunes or turn on pass the logo.

Probably the water got into some of the connections.

Oh, when it was on (after I fell asleep) it wouldn't let me connect to my own wifi, the wifi button was greyed out.

Any known fixes? At all, at least to connect to iTunes?

Whenever your phone gets wet set it in rice. I don't think it can be fixed now that water is inside it. -_-

I did the rice thing and I honestly think it messed it up more. The phone was running fine for about 2 hours after it was dropped, only problem was calling people. They could hear my voice but I couldn't hear them until I called back for about the 4th time but yes I did that rice thing, turned off my phone before setting it in rice.

The rice method does work, I did it with my iphone and it works great. Just leave it in rice and hopefully it will help.

How long did you leave it? Now it's telling me I need to restore it in itunes but whenever I try it passes the extracting software step, the screen goes white for a quick second and then it fails.

You messed up not only by dropping it in water, but by attempting to turn it on while there was water inside of it. You should always put it in rice (uncooked) then turn it on, never vice versa.

It was some little bratt's fault that it fell but yeah, I have barely had any sleep, just havent been thinking straight.

You should set in rice maybe ? & Have you tried plugging it up to your computer ? If it recognizes it in iTunes, Thats a good sign. If not, its shot.

iTunes says it needs to be restored before connecting, when I click restore it tells me it's removing the software >verifiying with Apple and then the phone flashes a white screen quickly and it fails

Well today it turned on and wouldn't allow me to go pass the logo unless I restored it via computer, so I did, failed, gave me a 2001 error, tried on my macbook air and it went pass that, all went good then at the FINAL stage it failed and gave me the 1656 error I believe, it basically turns on but can't restore and won't go anywhere unless I restore it lol.
