I need to light 14 beacons at once, but when i try and put the logs into the beacons it's not letting me, Dose anyone know what i need to do to do it?

I had that problem too, you have to FINISH defender of varrock before you can do it, I was trying it for like half an hour too before I realised I didn't finish DoV yet.
