Many people think it's extremely disgusting to have sex with another family member. I think there's nothing wrong with it, unless it's your grandma, grandpa, etc. I'd like to hear what you people think. Don't be the normal person and be like "Ew dude, that's disgusting, why would you ever think that?". I want you all to be completely honest.
 
Well due to the fact that inbreeding causes severe birth deformities, and the general awkwardness of having to see that family member again, and the fact that I find it revolting, I would never even consider doing it.
 
On complete honesty I find nothing wrong with having sex with your sister, brother, cousin, THROUGH LAW. But I do find it wrong through blood. Not because of the cliché "EW, GROSS" but because if you happen to get your family member pregnant the baby is more than 90% likely to come out with birth defects such as asbergers or Down syndrome. That is not fair (in my eyes) to the child to have to come into the world with these defects.
 
Well, considering that it's illegal, causes birth defects, and separates you from society, I think there is no place in our society for it. The only time it has been utilized recently has been in the times of monarchies, to keep the bloodline. That still caused physical problems to the descendants of those who participated in this act. It is pointless and there is really no logical reason why one should even consider incest. If you really want to have sex that bad, find a prostitute.
 
In my honest opinion, having sex with any of your family members is pretty disturbing

I would have to say that incest is wrong.
Why would you not think so? It causes birth defects and deformities.
 
Some reasons incest should not be practiced:
*Your child will be defected.
*It will tear your family apart if someone finds out.
Just don't do it. There's millions of girls/guys your age.
 
Thats just fucked up having sex with your sister. And after that, your child will be fucked up for life. Thats just cruel as fuck lol

That's true only after many a generation of inbreeding. Simple genetic principle.
 
If you believe in Jesus Christ or Christianity or any type of religion that started out with 2 people then you have to believe that it is okay to inbred.

That is a generalization and makes no sense. I'm an atheist, first of all. If you think about it, there was a very limited amount of homo-sapiens that had to start out the human population. This was way back when humans weren't intelligent enough to understand the effects of inbreeding. The human population had to start out with inbreeding, otherwise there would be no way for the population to grow. Plus, you can't just tell people what they believe in. It doesn't work that way.
 

Your understanding of evolution is quite poor. There were no first humans. There is no definitive borderline of our hominid species' genesis; remember it takes millennias upon millennias for such distinctive change to occur. They were aware of what incest was, however, were not aware of the medical problems that may occur. The world did not start with inbreeding, it started with a molecule of life much much less complex than a cell. The ones apart of the singularity of life procreated asexually, not sexually. It's called indoctrination, mate. It unfortunately works that way.
 

I was saying that there was once a limited amount a homosapiens at a certain point in time. They existed in small amounts and would have to breed with other homosapiens related to them. I was referring to humans in my post, not life in general. I guess I could have made that more clear.
 
I fail to see the logic that justifies incest as truly erroneous. Yes, it can result in deformities and defects. However, since when has incest implied that there will be a pregnancy? It simply doesn't imply that; it only implies there will be sexual relations between the two, nothing more, nothing less. I see no logical error in two adult relatives having consensual intercourse with contraception.

Homosexuality, incest, and pedophilia are society's sexual taboos and wrongdoings. In essentially every society these are ingrained taboos and wrongdoings. We are slowly, although, gradually realizing there is no valid logic to dictate them as truly erroneous. These debates are to be addressed with logic, not customary principles and unsubstantiated opinions.

Technically, we all came from a common ancestor in Taiwan (major port city) in about 3,000 BC. Looking at those statistics, we are all 50th cousins with one another (at most). This would not have happened without incest.. quite a LOT of incest.

If you are in the same country as somebody and have the same skin color, chances are, you are at most 10th cousins with each other.
