Inactive tags

Someone told me that they are starting to get rid of alot of inactive accounts making the tags usable again. Does anyone know anything about this and if its true?

They have always done this. They dont release the dates when they do it but yes, this happens

They always reset tags. They need to be inactive for 7 years.

They don't have a reset date when a tag has been inactive for 7 years it gets reset.
