would anyone like to help me manage/advertise/etc with it? Going to start out being a spawn pk server using pkp till we get players then will make it an eco server.



you don't have to dl if you don't want to. just putting it out there im not advertising yet

Virus scan... If I did it wrong please tell me a diff virus protection to use and scan with that will show what file, or if I could do it with mine..

I would join it if you got a good VPS which doesn't lagg the server. And good staff not retarded ones.
 
im going to have mature staff, and i will be hosting it myself atm untill i can afford a vps... but, there should be no lag and it is guaranteed to be 24/7
 
Ive been a mod on several servers but, i love seeing servers get off the ground. let me know if you need any help with anything cause ill be here :D

i could configure a mac client o.o, you guys will have to give me a week or so to code it up. glad to see i have supporters!!!
 
Tbh, I don't like Pking servers. And, I recommend you attract the players that the server will be in the long-term. If you get a say, 20 user playerbase for a spawn/pvp server, they may not like Eco and such servers.


How good of a coder are you? You could always allow them to spawn in certain areas (wilderness) and then leaving those areas, the items are taken.

Not sure if that's possible though. :p

Or, have 2 worlds?

there's the dl link... someone could post virus scan if they'd like just giving it out incase anyone wants to get on while im coding... ill give you spawning rights etc and if you help me advert ill make you staff.

I've seen a lot of popular servers start out as pking servers, and that's the route i'll be taking.
 
Virus scan please? It's kind of policy. And you only have 300 posts no offence of course.
 
yh im changing clients anyways so im removing that.
