Would you? The thought came to me and I'm wondering to myself, would I want to? Tough question. What about you guys? Discuss.

Depends, immortal meaning I won't die but my body ages or eternal youth? I would have accept eternal/immortal youth. I want to see how the human race pans out.

Yup. With the exception of aging. You don't become of old age, but you stay the same. This is just hypothetically speaking of course. :p

I'm completely with Zeus. I don't want my body to age into something that cannot even move but I wanna see all of the human race and leave when it ends. Here's another part to add onto your question:

Die now, or live forever? ooooooohh

Read my above post, I said "if you could remain young but live forever," then would you? :p

I would rather stay the age of 23 not age and live for about 200 years but forever is just to long.

I want to live like the movie In time or whatever that would be awesome.

I would collect every Og ever created. Looool jk I'd probably end up getting locked up after I found out I was immortal):

One of the downsides to being immortal is what if you got trapped somewhere and people just stopped looking for you because they assumed you died.

Idk? Turn into a super saiyan or some shit.

Personally I would say no. If you live forever soon you'll find life boring because you'll start to leave out the same details that makes life what it is. Everything around you will then feel pointless and stupid.

I would live forever only if my girl could too.
I would love to piss on some peoples graves that have pissed me off over the years. BUt if they made it to where i would look 19 again, and have a word that killed me if only I said it then ya, that way when shit got boring or something happened i could kill me self (i know very emo)

By living forever, living forever old and not being able to do anything? Or live forever in the point of your younger ages?
In my opinion, I would definitely live longer to be able to experience things I wanted to do but maybe have not had the money or time to do it.
You are eventually going to get married like 10 times, then it wont even mean anything, basically everything you do might not mean anything to you once you did it.
But forever is a long time, imagine everyone living forever..
Just enjoy life while your here :)

I actually want to create an animation about this. A person wishing for immortality, going through life happily as things progress. However, everyone around him begins dying, his family, his friends, his love. However, he knew this would happen and begins to devote his time to something he sees as helping the human race. He begins scientific research, helping make new discoveries but as time goes on, he becomes depressed, slowly going insane. In the end, he spends thousands of years alive, depressed, until the galaxy is destroyed and he spends billions of years floating in space as the universe recreates itself (I imagine some sort of montage scene looking like a bunch of photos showing different progression in space behind him with explosions). It ends with him finding a puddle of water with bacteria on a barren planet the size of the earth, and just sitting down and watching it.

I would rather be Immortal but at the same time have an option to end it all. Seriously why would I want to live forever? I'd rather be remembered after a certain period of time than just live on doing the same crap.
My thoughts. :)

That actually sounds pretty interesting though.

Can you tell it again? :p

I would watch a movie like that.
