I want to mod my tenure to 8 and a couple of my friends did it already. When you mod it do you get instantly banned or does it take a while. Or do you never get banned?
Every week, move it up one. You might get away with it for up to two years before they notice. People here freak and say "insta ban" so people don't try modding, then selling.

I don't think you will get banned. Its not like they are watching people mod their tenures or whatever (I don't know that for a fact). In less someone tells Microsoft that you modded it and they can check.
Modding Avatars you get banned fast. How? The color of the avatar.
Modding Tenures its just a number (they could think that it is legit)

I was considering this too, i have had xbox live since '07, its just that i changed accounts, i still have both, my 5 year old account and my 1 year old account, im just wondering if i were to mod my 1YA to a 5 year tenure would i get banned, because i have seen on the 'net people get perma' banned for modding their tenure, i didn't want to risk it
