If i mod my Tenure will i get instantly banned?

I want to mod my tenure to 8 and a couple of my friends did it already. When you mod it do you get instantly banned or does it take a while. Or do you never get banned?

Around how long do you have a estimate? a week or 2, a couple of months?
Cause apparently my friend changed his to 10years 3 months ago still no ban..if you want proof look at his account on xbox

Hmmm i just modded it to 8 years...and im still not banned if you want proof im not banned pm for gamertag.
 
ur lucky then but i would watch out cause ms is dropping the ban hammer like crazy

You will be banned eventually. I'd suggest resetting it if possible.

not instantly but it will get banned. Its pretty easy to tell if its fake or not by other players as well not that it matters.
 
ok...One more quick question i made this account in 2007 so i modded the years to 4. when it gets to dec will it go to 5 or will it stay at the number i set it to?

Yes, I did it but right after I did it my friends told me that I would get banned so I modded it to 1 and I was fine. But they reset it back to 0.
