So I heard Fish Masks were going rare, and they're now becoming a form of currency... "I'll give you 40 fish masks for that phat, good sir!"

I bought one for 5.75m and realized I got ripped, but sold it for 6m...
I bought 12 for 45m and am just sitting on them until I can double/triple my investment.
I'm looking for any quick-good deals on these things but I'm starting to think its all a hoax.

Things are ugly and goofy as fuck, why are they fluctuating so much.
 
I'd guess it's because they're becoming discontinued.. I bought a few just in case xD
 



The GE graphs say they're at about 3.1M, and if you bought one for 5.75, then yeah that was a rip.

Although the graph has had an increase of 2M since last month, so it's kind of hard to tell, it could be fake and drop at any moment.
 

Really can't go by graphs/GE on this one except for unaware people that get it from SOF and just dump for mid.
The forums are anywhere from 5.5-6m right now.

Oh really, then no idea. I know theirs quite a bit of talk about people buying spins for SoF to obtain quite a bit of them.
 
Street value is like 5-6m.
its from SOL and GE won't help with it,saw people selling for 7m+,I doubt this will be like phats etc that become extreme rares.
Those day are long gone.
 
their going to get discountinued when summer ends. and completely removed from SoF forever. i got 2 fish masks from the spins, and bought an other 3. When they get discountinued they will end up being at the price of santa hats... bought my fish masks at 4m
you didn't make a mistake by banking a few fish masks. personally, their ugly, but they say something when u wear it and go fishing
 
I only have 65m since I came back, and I dont want to go for broke on these. I'm dropping 50m and then I'm going to ride it out. If they get to Santa status I'll be very happy, I can drop one and get a santa which I've always wanted.

I'd say keep em'. You never know what will happen, and if you do get rid of them, and they do end up sky-rocketing you'd regret it.
 

This is true, and I'm woodcutting to 99 and then runecrafting at runespan until my membership runs out in october. Nothing that requires money right now, so I'm just going to let it ride.
 
i feel like max they'll hit is 50m, and that'll be YEARS from now.

If you can still trade them after they leave the SOF then yea they will only go up in value

You should keep them, although you should know that it probably won't become discontinued like phats because I THINK they're still rewards from SOF

they are, but theyre very rare. I was one block away from one yesterday.
 

Yeah but out of everyone who plays Runescape surely at least 1 person a week gets a fish mask.
 
Its allot more common that that method
I seen some kid in a dicing clan having a 100 stack of them so I dont think they are that rare but it is kinda rare its like santa hats were when they came out Loads of people had them and as people died with them and lost them etc the price just raised and raised
So In a few years they could become worth something but Honestly Right now they are not that desirable
 

at least santas are attractive, the fish masks are ugly as fck.
 
merch clans would have bought thousands.. they will sell them soon.
