sorry dreclin but i have to proove you wrong there.. it IS a BRITISH Thing.. Royal Air Force = Serving the Queen, and as canada are part Of the British Common Wealth (or were? dont remember) they also serve under the Queen of England and have named there airforce the Canadian RAF.. think Australia has it too and thats why The Elite has the name
