I have a question about turboes! Please help

Ok I was gonna swap my tag on a differnt account but was wondering how long turboes last and someone told me they had a turbo on his tag for 6 years. Can I type it in fast enough before the turbo takes it?? Please help! Thank you
 
I would suggest not swapping it. He's not going to turbo it for six years, but he probably will for a few weeks.
 
Don't swap it just yet, a turbo will fuck you over as it checks a large amount of times in a few seconds, don't risk it, wait a few weeks or months (if you have patience).

You can beat a turbo by changing your gamertag on the xbox but also while being on xbox.com with a different account and spamming the "Check if available button"
 
By a different account if you mean a main, don't it will get turboed. But if you are swapping to a fresh account then you have a chance.
 
You cant beat a turbo just by typing. I would suggest  not to swap your tag someone turbo a 35 dollar tag from me
