I hate routers and internet.

I try everything to make my internet faster and for my router to be able to connect to xbox live. But nothing ever seems to work. It's like something is lol'ing at me.
 
Have you talked to your ISP and "complain" abotut the bad speeds that you have been experiencing for ____ days/months/years, and that you never get anywhere close to the ____mb/s that they promised in the contract.

 
Connectivity. This isn't my best made thread, but basically my new modem, with DOCSIS 3.0 is supposedly "faster" which it is. But it keeps on dropping connection and restarting itself.

Is it only doing it on Xbox Live?

If so, check this out,

I believe opening your NAT also helps on connectivity.
 
Talk to xbox support if needed. Try getting a new cable?
 
I've literally tried everything. I'm heading out tonight to buy a new Wireless N adapter for my xbox.
 
No matter what i do, when connecting the wireless and connecting straight to the router, no matter what the internet connection will be slow

Its due to the type of connection the xbox's use to connect to the microsofts' servers, makes it draining of the internet to the rest of the people
 
Try using a diffrent xbox (borrow a friends) to see if it's just your xbox thats messing up. Also, isn't wireless slower?
 
i have a router its suuuuper fast man i dont know whats wrong with yours
 
It might be his area or his ISP. I don't think it's something with the router.

Just call your isp and they will most likey send someone to check it out.
 


Raped? Lol, I felt like posting that. Anyways, get a new ethernet, or possibly test your internet connection on your xbox to see what the problem is.

holy shit dude, the max i haveever had is 10mb, that was when all family were out and i was the only one using it =/
 
My internet is capped for another 2 days.
Mine doesn't go over 5mb/s. -.-
 
i have unlimited aswell. i download what i want when i want no capped ftw!!!!!!!
