Hypebeast. Your opinion?

So as time goes on in 7th grade I use to be the usual kid to buy American eagle Aeropostale shit like that. So now as time progressed I've turned into a hypebeast my favorite thing to do in my spare time besides play basketball and hang out with friends is to buy the nicest clothes and shoes. My plan is to probably sell all my tags and buy clothes. I'm not one of those kids either that want to please society with my looks I hate people assume that... Some people say it's weird I find it pretty fun even though it does take away all my money but hey I'm 16 I don't really need any necessities right now. I plan on becoming a sneaker head but the money's tight for now.
So what's your opinion on a hypebeat? I've thought of it as a fun hobby. You?
 
Everyone could be considered a hypebeast lol. I'm the same way. I buy clothes from like A.P.C., JVP Melbourne, etc.
 
I just wear athletic shorts and surfing/skating brand shirts most of the time. I haven't even heard the term hypebeast until now.

Nope, I used to care but now I don't even buy Jordans (I only wear J's when I cross you and Nate in basketball.) Casual is the way to go.
 
I like my clothes, but I can't stand some styles now. I'm going to offend some swag kids, but the gay ass Nike high socks, just stop. I can't stand that. I prefer just a cleaner look, some pants and a decent shirt, I love my shoes though. I don't waste my money on ridiculously priced Nikes or Jordan's though, don't even think they look good at all.
 

My school has somewhat of a dress code, so normally, I wear Khakis, a nice button down and a pair of J's. They can really go well with a classy look. I'd never be caught dead in basketball shorts and high socks tho
 
Well, hype definitely does exist. If you need a bot for nike.com just hmu sometimes.
 
Kids here are so fucking annoying with their retro jordans, cargo shorts and the hundreds snapbacks. They completely ruined that band and so many others like stussy, supreme, etc. If you knew the brands on your own, good, if you're jumping on the wagon, kys.
 
But at the end of the day ? Who the fuck cares ?!
