Does anyone have experience with Hydroponics or growing herbs via soil?

If you have never grown at all before then I don't recommend starting out in Hydro. If you do have experience then head over to grasscity forums they have TONS of information.

I hear many different people say Hydro is the way to start, and many who say the opposite. I personally think I'm more of a technical oriented person, so the direct infusion of nuts would be more simple to me. Especially a simple DWC or NFT system. Either way, there is a Hydroponics store very close to me so maybe its worth a visit?

I think Hydro would be fine to start, I highly suggest making an account and asking there. You will get professional help from users and tutorials.
