Well traffic is common and is acceptable because it is the flow. However what can be irritating is the traffic jam! In my city, it's a place like no other during busy days, horns honking, all kinds of transportation go bumper to bumper. even the train and other railway transports are jam packed with people. It's really stressful but I learned to live with it. It is something beyond our control.

Typically in our country, traffic is already common to us most especially in Metro Manila. If its Monday, traffic is bumper to bumper. To avoid late at the office, I need to wake up early. Normally going to office its only half an hour, but it makes one and a half an hour due to heavy traffic.

Traffic in our place is during rush our only. In the morning and in the afternoon. I think it's because some roads in our place is not that wide. Drivers even forgot to follow traffic rules. I hate traffic and it makes me feel bad when I was at the middle of a traffic jam. Don't worry, I think your not the only person who encounter those traffic jams. ^^

I am not going out for work but I know here in Bangalore it is tough to travel during peak hours..That's why government itself promoting public transports..

Here in Mexico City, Mexico traffic is so bad. We have 3 lane highways and they need to be like 5. Traffic is so bad at 8am, 12pm, and 4pm. My friend travesl 30 mints. and it really takes him 2 hrs to go. Its bad, a few years ago they built the metro. Its a fast train. Many people people ride it, but the prices are to high for people to leave their cars home and ride it.

Yeah two of the most resilient features of life in Jakarta are the mini-protest and the macro-jam. Almost every day some group or other takes their grievance to the city’s main landmark, the Bundaran HI traffic circle. However small the protesters’ number, they end up bringing traffic to a halt all around the city’s main thoroughfare.

Car Free Day .. That must be why I always like Jakarta on Sunday Morning.

yes, i like Jakarta also on Sunday morning, really relaxing, but for other day Monday - Saturday, the traffic just like hell. this would be happen if we have more decent public transportation and limit the private vehicle owning. but don't think it would happen in short time now, so many corrupted government. this would take 100yr maybe to fix Jakarta problem :(

Well talking about the traffic of mine place. I probably think that we have the highest traffic in the world. At peak hours the traffic is so dense that we must make a 1 hr consideration and take off from earlier. So you can imaginf that the situation of traffic :)

our city, manila (philippines) is one of the worst cities when it comes to traffic. since i can't get myself up early (to avoid traffic), i moved to a place where i can walk going to the office.. i know it's frustrating, but you can also think of your own way to avoid it...

Well with each passing day the load of traffic on our city roads is increasing. It is very difficult to pass through the rickshaws trolleys and state transport vehicles are which dont bother about general public.

Many of the road users just flaunt the laws and ignore other users who also have right to use the roads equally. Its traffic every where and roads at important points and junctions are always jammed causing much trouble to the daily commuters.

I have no worry about that because my home is not in a city, and it is a village which does'nt have much traffic, the main city about 5km aboard when we go for shopping and other needs,we did'nt like to stay there much full of vehicles, smokes.always it will take much time rescue our car from the huge rush.

LOL. It's hustle and bustle, terrible, thousands of motorbike, car, truck... They're everywhere. Especially in the morning about 6 AM and 5 PM, the street is full of people and vehicles can't move ! I think it's the problem of developed countries. So we all hope that it will be changed soon in some day !

LOL, yes let's have crossed our finger. it will take very long long time to fix this mess. maybe i need to go to office in very morning let say 5 AM and go home on 8 PM, but will miss my family. miss my children, when going to work they still sleeping and came home they just starting to sleep. i will also miss the Sun. LOL

I think traffic jams have become common now a days almost everywhere in the World! My city is also no exception for this. I live in NCR of our Capital city Delhi, where traffic jams are very common and you would never know when you will reach your destination once you are your move! Thanks !
