Nope, it's so you can swap the gamertag so the account you are swapping from doesn't get your console. Or you can use this to swap a tag to a main if you only own one console.

I have never used this in the past. My main intention for this was to find a way to swap a tag on to a main account if you only have one console. However you can also use it to swap gamertags so the account does not get your console.

The only way it would work is if there wasn't a V1. Other than that, no it doesn't work for spaced tags.
