Hey i have always been wondering why youtube keeps copyrighting me for music i put in my videos. I do put known songs on there. It will say you can not view this video on mobile device, and you cant.. Is there a way i can still put thoughs songs on there and not get copyrighted? I always see it in some videos, not mine.

ALL HELP APPRECIATED

1) Use non-copyrighted music.
2) Change the pitch a bit in whatever video editor you use.

Hope this helps.

I would personally recommend Abode After Effects.

There is no way to avoid copyright unless you use a royalty free/non-copyright song or a song that is originally made by you. Shortening the video, changing the pitch and adding in disclaimers to your video description will not excuse the infringement.

Changing the pitch has worked in EVERY case that I have done it.

Is there a video tutorial on how to do this? I have after effects, im not to familiar on how to use it.

Well then, everything's down to OP to try that out. Hopefully, it'll work out for him just like it did for you. It won't work for everyone though since it doesn't solve the illegality at all, it will only avoid Youtube's automatic detection of the audio and confuse its filters, WMG still has the right to request Youtube and Youtube might just update their software.

Use Audacity, it's much more simpler. You can either:

-Open the track in Audacity and use an effect called Change Tempo.
-Use the play rate adjustor. Right click the track and click on Properties.

I tried that.. But when i try to save the file afterwards it wouldnt save to .mp3 only audacitys file.. I downloaded this file to make it .mp3 too, That also didnt work.

Well, that is what I used when I had to export an .aud file to .mp3 a few months back. Not sure if it still works now, though. As far as I know, the LAME encoder is the easiest way to convert .aud to .mp3. Just use google to search for newer tutorials. Good luck.
