I use this too. I can easily notice the smoother gameplay I get with this mod.

If you want Minecraft to be super fast, use Optifine, a really simple texture pack, and allocate more RAM to Minecraft.

Yeah, I often have to run it on Short or sometimes even tiny to get completely smooth motion. Going to look into it now.
