How to make site load in php?

So im trying to set up my site, and atm i get the apache welcome screen. Obviously i have to add stuff to the html, but the thing is i want to add mybb , which is all php. if i add a index.html it loads that fine, but not the index.php from mybb. any help?

Are you using XAMPP? You'll have to enable the PHP configuration side of things (PHP version, etc.)

I don't even know, ive searched everything i know to on google , you got skype?

have you tried to do localhost/install

I usually use install.php have you tried that?
