Your first 1k
Now your first 1K will be from when you just climb out of the dungeon. (Tutorial) You want to make your way from the starting zone to "Cows" or "Chickens". Cows drop cowhide which are (when writing this guide) 231 GP each (GP stands for "gold peaces" and is one of many currency's in runescape) or Chickens which drop feathers that are 12 GP. Chickens are much easier to kill and feathers stack (you can hold multiple feathers in one invent space) but they do not cost as much as cowhide.
