I made this tutorial while I was really high so sorry if it sucks. The best tape to use in electrical tape because it is really flexible and usually creates a good seal. The bong I make in this tutorial is a piece of shit. I had a horrible bottle, pen and tape but I did my best. If you follow this tutorial and use good materials then you will be able to make an awesome piece. Also, use a bigger bottle then the one I use.
I am going to show you guys how I make my bongs when I need too.
Materials:
- 2 sockets. One must be able to fit into the other.
- Tin Foil
- Tape
- Pen
- Bottle
- Lighter
- Pin, Needle or Thumbtack
The first part to make is the bowl. First start by finding your 2 sockets and making sure they fit together. They do not have to be tight but you do not want them very loose.
Now take a small peice of tin foil and sandwich it between both sockets. When you push the socket in the inside will flatten out. Then just crumple the excess foil on the edge like this.
If you look down inside it will look like this.
Now we need to take our needle or whatever you are using and poke multiple wholes into the tin foil. This is creating a sort of screen so that the weed does not fall through. It will look like this when you are done.
Now take a piece or tape and put it around the two sockets to create a seem. This will help keep everything air tight.
Now we will add the down stem. We will be using a simple pen. Just hollow the pen out by taking out all the insides so that you can blow through it. Find the end of your sockets that is the deepest and put your pen into it.
Now tape the socket to the pen to create an air tight seel.

Our down stem is now complete. Now we need to see where we are going to put our whole for the down stem in our bottle. Hold up your down stem to your bottle and locate the best spot. You want it to be at about a 45 degree angle.
Once you locate a good spot you want to burn the whole. Be careful not to make the whole to big. The best method is to make whole small but melt the surrounding plastic and then push the stem in so it is the perfect size.
Now we need to tape the downstep to the bottle to create a seal. This is pretty self explanatory.
Now we need to make the shotgun. The shotgun is a small whole that is used to allow air into the chamber while you are inhaling so you can clear the chamber. Make this whole in a place where your fingers will naturally be resting on the bottle but high up to the water will not reach it.
Now add water and enjoy.
For those of you that do not know how to smoke this type of bong you want too put your weed into the socket and hold your finger on the shotgun. Light and inhale until smoke completely fills the bottle. Then release your finger from the shotgun and inhale strongly.
