This is how to create a realistic bubble in photoshop.

  1. Create a new workspace with the following properties.
  2. Fill the canvas via Edit > Fill > 50% Grey
  3. Add a lense flare with the properties in the picture via Filter > Render > Lense Flare
  4. Add Polar to Rectangular Coordinates from Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates
  5. Filp the canvas vertically. Image > Image Rotation > Flip Canvas Verticle
  6. Add rectangle to polar cordinates. Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates
  7. This is what you should have so far
  8. Put in guides at the half way x and y and while holding Alt drag out the eliptical marquee tool from the center of the bubble to the edges so that all your bubble is selected.
  9. Press Ctrl + J to duplicated the selection.
  10. Delete the first layer and create a new background layer and fill with any colour you want.

Thats it, you can now duplicate the bubble layer, expand the canvas and create a flash bubble scene.
