Hello, I don't know whether this is the right section, because I currently only signed up today, but I thought i'd post this to help users get the new dashboard beta for free.
Firstly go to this website:
http://connect.microsoft.com/XboxLIVEUpdate
When you go onto you it, go to this section:

and click the last word which is "Here" which is underlined blue. It will direct you to a new web page, were you have to enter your email address and password. After you have done that it will then ask you, to create a Microsoft forum screen name, and then it proceeds on telling you that you have successful and you should get the dashboard within 2-3 working days.
If you have any problems just post on the topic and i'll be happy to help out.
NOTE: The dashboard can not be leaked as Microsoft as stated that any user doing so will be issued a temp/perm ban.
