This tutorial will be very simple and contain how to Factory restore your PC.
Warning: If you have any files you wish to keep back them up before the restore, this restore will completely back up your system to "out of the box" state. It re-registers your PC and OS.
Step 1:
- Turn off PC
- Plugin charger(DO NOT FORGET TO DO THIS)
Step 2:
- Hold Power button and zero key for 35 seconds
- Only release after a beeping sound or 35 seconds(No execptions)
Step 3:
- Follow Restore guide
- When going through guide never touch anything, all pre-sets are legit
- Be prepared to wait for a 1-4Hrs
Step 4:
- After restore click finish and wait
- System will restart and prompt you for registering your PC/OS, do so
- After the registration wait, the PC will set up your personal account
- After you are past your login screen(at desktop) wait, don't click anything
- Your PC will setup all it's drivers,apps, etc. it will restart various times, be patient
- After your PC has finished all it's restarts you are good to go, enjoy your factory restored laptop!
Note: Your Toshiba laptop must have been made between 2007-2012.
