Hey UG members, ever wanted something on your desktop but don't want others to see it? Well I am going to tell you exactly how to do that.
THIS WAS NOT FOUND BY ME. I AM ONLY POSTING THIS SO OTHERS CAN USE IT AS WELL.
ORIGINAL VIDEO
1. Make a folder anywhere on your desktop.
2. Right click on the folder and click on properties.
3. Something new should open, once it does, go to the top and click on customize.
4. Once there, choose the "Change Icon" button about 3/4 of the way down.
5. Once done, scroll over to the right till you see invisible icons to choose from.
Choose any of the blank ones.
6. Click "OK" and also click "Apply" and "OK" on the previous window as well.
7. Now click on the folder so you can change its name.
8. Now hold "ALT" and type 255, then press "ENTER"
And now you are done! Now you can hide things from anyone that wants to use your laptop/desktop. They should not be able to find it unless they randomly highlight the desktop.
NOTICE: Only works on the number pad as far as I know. Not sure about USB number pads.
