A vulnerability exists in Mac OS X that allows you to do SO many things. It's called SUM (Single User Mode)

Step 1: Turn off your Mac.

Step 2: Boot while holding COMMAND + S

Step 3: You will see a bunch of garbled commands that are being gone through.

Step 4: When it stops doing its thing and allows you to type, type this and press enter:
Code:
sh /etc/rc

Step 5: Type this and replace <user> with the EXACT name of the user you're trying to change the pass to:
Code:
passwd <user>

Step 6: Type "reboot" and wait.

You can now login with the password you set. Easy huh?
