How to be cricket player ? what would be correct steps?

well I dont want to be cricketers because I am businessman but I am asking this question because I have nephew and I want to make him cricketer , we are from India and I dont know correct step , I know only one thing that I should make him join any cricket accademy but after that how he will play for state level , national level , and finally in India team ? how plz help
