How to avoid being billed by Microdick

Okay guys. So a lot of you have been SE'ing Xbox One's and are scared because you heard that Microdick is billing people.

Well I figured out how to avoid being billed if they decide to bill you.

Very simple.

When you are at the end of the process where it asks you for the billing information, all you have to do is put a random billing name and address. Or an address on your block but one that isn't your actual address. This avoids Microdick from billing you to your address. That way, whatever house it goes to gets billed but you don't.

I have confirmed this when I did it. I though that the billing information had to match the billing information on the VCC but I was wrong. I was shipping a console to my IRL friends house and I was using my personal VCC (which has my address registered) and I just put a different address and it worked.

This should help a lot of you guys out and help you get some new consoles.

Please leave some appreciation if this helped you.

Thanks and good luck.

Great thread Beats. Appreciate your thread. How could they just bill your house though?

Because, after a while they suspect that you aren't going to ship back the broken console so they bill you.

But that's the beauty of this method. You don't have to worry about getting billed.

Just letting you know though, if someones gets the xbox or you do, your address and or ISP IP is still on file, this is fraud, I have a bill from Windows Azure for $20,000 and over. If your friend gets the xbox or you do it wont matter.

First Microsoft has all your billing info even if you change your billing info they have the old billing info in there systems.

also they have your IP Address - which gives them your Billing Address, and your Internet Service Provider.

This is what will happen beats

The Home Owner will send the mail back to the sender, Microsoft will then get the mail and open a fraud case on you.

It's called return to sender :)

and putting someone else address is Mail Fraud

I'm glad I never SE'd the Xbox One so I don't have to worry about all this! For those that did it I wish you the best of luck!

If I get caught, I'm going to be like "Oops, yeah I forgot to send it back, it should arrive in a few days". Basically, I'm sending the Xbox they sent me back to them. Or I'll be like "My friend said he was going to send an xbox one to me for $100. I gave him the $100 and I guess I got screwed over". Then, I'll give them Philly's address or something. :p.

I guess that could work. I know that Shadow is doing that also.

Fun fact, people have been SE'ing Microsoft for years. I've personally send many items to my own home, never been billed once. MS is a company that doesn't bill.

I honestly decided not to do this, too much risk, and even if they dont bill you all they gotta do is ban your console and there goes all your tags and accounts, Not worth it to be honest

Wait so on step 2 we enter a fake billing address but they still ship it to the physical address that they asked?

Yes, you put your real shipping address and a fake billing address. So 1st address real 2nd address fake.
