Ok guys honestly i'm sick of people talking about "there won't be another reset on xbox" Or "I have actual reset dates selling them hmu". In this article I will be explaining how it actually works and i have proof!
Alright guys so this is basically how the v1 reset works. Ok so when a tag has been inactive for 7 years it become eligible to be reset. After busy season (which is usually around christmas time) a group of moderators get together such as e, batmayneee, lollip0p, trixie360 etc and decide on what tags to get reset. Then they get manually reset. Once they get reset they go into what is called "limbo" for anywhere from 1 day to however many years. After the moderators manually reset each tag, it takes however many years long for the computer to automate each tag and purge, and recycle it back into use. So there is no set date on which tag or when a tag will ever be reset. I have been literally hawking over a tag that has been inactive for 8 1/2 years and has not been reset yet, even when it gets reset like the gamertag "air" it is still in limbo, so the GT air may not be available and purged from the system for 20 years for all we know. So guys, this is how the v1 reset works, if you have any other questions or private inquiries don't hesitate to message me!
Proof:
Dictionary:
v1: Version 1, pertaining to the original xbox or original xbox accounts on the original xbox.
v2: Version 2; Pertaining to the Xbox360 or Xbox360 accounts created on it.
Limbo: A state that the tags stay in after reset that takes anywhere from 1-X years on when it will be recycled and purged back into the system available for use
Reset: When a tag gets wiped from the system but not purged and recycled back into the system
Remember guys, you heard this first on ForumKorner! If i learn anymore I'll keep you updated!
