Use a gmail if you wanna be able to comment etc, and then from there activate 2-step-verification! Optional emails + codes could be also added but your good with just the 2SV! Just don't lose your phone ?

Go to account settings of the YouTube, add or remove managers.. Add your email you want on the account, no wait 24 hours. Then remove the old email and make the new email the owner/manager.

Then deactivate that Google account (the original one) and boom it's on your email.
