How do you record?

So I'm kind of getting interested in making my own videos for runescape. For bets in h/c, boss killing, pking. All that jazz. But i know nothing about it. Is there an online recorder i can use for free....... that allows me to record in game I think once i get that, i'll be able to figure it out from there.
 
Sweet! Thanks! My last game i played intensivley, (Aces High II), had it's own in-game recorder, i absolutley looved that. I recorded all my dogfights and learned from my mistakaes.
 
Should get Fraps, Although - I don't think Fraps records RuneScape...Lul - But yeah, Camtasia is great. My old crappy laptop maintained 100fps while recording with it. Almost no FPS drop when recording.
 
I've used fraps before. Thanks for reminding me! I'll definently download that again.

And how about a picture of that powerstroke ironhide

Fraps can record RS, it can record pretty much every game.
OP, I've used Camtasia for RS and I've to say that it was great, didn't even drop my FPS by much, I'd say like 2 FPS.
 
Yea, your best bet is to use camstia for runescape. Fraps, is really unneeded for recording RS.
 
I'm too stupid for Fraps. I don't know whether I'm recording or not and then I get really paranoid and mess up and stuff.
