How do you manage your feelings for your bestfriend?

When i was younger, i remember that i had a bestfriend. He was quite tall and good looking. We used to share our problems, tell some funny stories and sometimes go out from the school together. I was inloved with him but i didn't let him see it though sometimes it was obvious. I was really hurt to know that he already had a girlfriend. I was in pain in silent. I remember that i wrote something about us in my diary. Then the high school ended and didn't have chance to tell my feelings for him.

If i had any feelings for my girl / boy fren who is mine best friend. I will be prepared myself that he/she is mine vry good fren and there is nothing going to happen in between us. And i will console myself.
