I call it sadness because I am in no way depressed. I am not a very depressed guy. Or maybe I am depressed. I do now know. Depression runs in my family. My whole family has it, except my dad. But my mom has it, and my sister's started when she was around this age. They take medicine for depression, I do not.
Anyways, I am sorry for continuing to post about this. But how do you deal with a death? A close friends death? My grandma's have died but this death has hit me way harder than any of the other ones. I don't know if it is only because she was 13 or what. All I know, is that I have no clue how to get over it. Thinking happy thoughts won't help, it makes me miss her more. There is also a few other things I am not willing to discuss with you guys, but I just want to know how to deal with sadness, possibly depression, and a death of a friend. Thank you.

Dealing with a death. Reminisce, and cherish the good time you had with the person. Don't think of sadness and depression. They wouldn't want that of you. Think of the time you two had and just be happy that it happened. I'm sorry that you have experienced death, just remember that it is natural and will come around for everyone.

I usually just try to play my guitar (poorly, If I may) , or I do something generous, The best feeling I've found is the joy of seeing that you've brightened someones day.

Sadness is just a mood that will eventually go away. I lost both my grandparents within a year, both suffered from diabetes. I watched both of them suffer as they got some of their body parts amputated & eventually passed away. What I'm trying to say, is there is no way of "getting rid" of it. Cherish the memories & move on.

Personally I deal with any type of sadness the only way I know how, I drink.

I don't recommend it at all, but it's all I know.
