I try to change my gt on my Xbox it says its taken but its really not also how come spaced tags don't really work anymore
 
if its not taken and it wont let you change it, most likely the tag has been deleted for good by MS
 
or sometimes when you swap a tag, it isn't always available right away and can take from 48 hours to 7 years (what an agent told me)
 
I just wanted tcj its my initials and its not actually taken I've been looking for weeks tho

the new gt character limit is 4 characters.
 
Theres a spaced version thats in use. T C J. Also, franklin is wrong.
 
There cant be more than one version of a tag made anymore. The GTs "tcj", "t c j", "tc j", and "t cj" are the same no matter how its spaced. Since there is a version already, another one cant be made. Your only hope of getting that tag is contacting the spaced owner.

I noticed that certain tags are available if you are changing your tag on xbox.com, but when you try to make them on the console itnwill say it is taken. Then you can create a freah silver and the name will go on fine
