On August of this year (next month), I will be going to live in Italy with my husband. It will be completely different from my culture. Foods are different. Habits are different. Things are different. It looks quite difficult to cope to them.
How can I be fine there? I am honestly a bit scared to live there and leave my country. Guys, how do you think i can cope to them? What is the best way?

Honestly, it is up to you how you will be able to cope up with the different environment. Well, be as receptive and adaptable as possible. Gather information how people in a certain country are behaving and acting with that you can know about what to react and act. Be as friendly as possible and don't be scared about what they think about you and the like. We have a term "acculturation" and I think it would be better to know their culture and try to get along with it by getting along with them.

I can really understand how you feel, I can share you my story when I worked abroad. I worked in Saudi Arabia and the culture is entirely different compared to my home country. People are really different in their way of living and belief. I find it hard during my first week of staying. But when I was able to handle my assimilation from the present country I am working with then I can just tell to myself that is it just a state of mind that you can get through after experiencing their own habitat. And to think that people are not created only to live in a certain place as there's a lot of room for the world to explore and we need to experience. Take it positively and don't be afraid, especially you will be together with your husbands company. Only thing that you need to expect is the good life you can have and don't be too negative neither be optimistic as it is a great blessing for you.

U dont need to " cope " whit them, u need to live your life and adjust it.
If u do things u dont feel good about then dont do it, and fitting in somewhere isent that hard.
And it seems harder then it is just enjoy the chainge ;D
