I see it's been a while since this was posted, but I just wanted to ask—has anyone tried using current open-source SIP clients like Jami or Linphone lately? Curious how they hold up for call quality and reliability compared to paid services. Also wondering what setups people are using nowadays for securing VoIP—any simple tools you’d recommend for encryption or traffic monitoring?

Tried setting up a small office with SIP and VOIP a while back, and the difference in call quality was noticeable. Later, testing a cloud call center setup for a side project made handling multiple lines super smooth, and routing calls was way easier than juggling physical phones.
