Wrong type of smoke, but good thinking. Weed smoke behaves quite a bit differently than cigarette smoke.
In my experience you're best off buying some Nag Champa (http://nagchampa.com/) incense and light it while/after you smoke. Short of that, candles do work pretty nicely as do Scentsy (http://scentsy.com/) candles but they take a bit longer.
At the very least, if you have matches around (you can get them for free at just about any gas station) light a few, let them burn for a second and put them out. Move the smoke through the room and it will cover the scent of bud quite a bit.
