Buoyancy is the ability of an object to float in a liquid or air. Buoyancy is measured in Force (N); A tool used to measure it is a A Westphal (or Mohr) balancer. Basically the more dense the object is, the more buoyant. Buoyancy is essential to Water activites such as Scuba Diving, Ships, Submarines.
