Having trouble bumping a thread

I made a thread yesterday and I would like to bump it. However, whenever I make a post on that thread, it does not bump the thread at all. What am I doing wrong?
 
You must wait 24 hours, or more.

If it's 23hr and 59 mins, it's not long enough wait.

must be 24 hours since last edit.

Now you need to wait another 24 hours, since you edited post.

Lol this made me laugh for some reason. I can't explain why but just something made me laugh in this post!!!
