Have you ever been in love?

Yes, I have indeed. Details are a no go, go find your own love.

Fuuuuuck love life.

I dated a chick beginning of this year, things weren't exactly going too well and my priorities were a little fucked at the time (studying, training, etc) and eventually I broke up with her.

A few months had passed and we were still friends, then as time gradually grew past, I began to constantly talk to one of her best friends, we hit it off pretty quickly and I comforted here throughout a rough time (she had this fling with another guy and shit ended pretty abruptly between the two), 2 weeks after that I finally claimed to take a liking to her and she had replied that she felt the same. Although, there was only one issue, she had also confessed to me that her best friend still had feelings for me and that we couldn't be together.

We had decided to keep this between one another and that we should wait until we proceeded to inform others, we were "flirting" constantly and a few weeks later she decides to tell me "I'm going to try and get back with ----- (the guy she had a fling with) you need to sort things out with -----, " I was literally devastated, I had felt played, used, etc...it was depressing as f*ck for awhile, we talk...but it's minimal.

tl;dr.
I got fucked over and it sucks.

If you think that then you're stupid, it's alot about experience and learning if you ask me.

Relationships at that age rarely last as you are saying, but they prepare you for when you are older with how to deal with them.

E.g; break ups, don't rush, friends first,

lol? my family and some of our closest friends, umm never dated in high score and had 1 gf/bf and got married and still living together today, moral of story, most highschool relationships are fucked

My parents never dated before and they're perfectly happy together...
As Charlotte says in Pride and Prejudice, it's all a matter of chance. Too bad she go screwed over.

I don't see how your families love lives can be an example and used as a whole for teenagers dating. I know many people who have gone through relationships as teenagers, broken up, dated other people and gotten married. I personally believe high school relationships are good, you can learn how to deal with the opposite sex(unless you're @"Adam") and their feelings emotionally, physically and possibly sexually. You can use the relationships to build off and better yourself for future endeavors.

Yeah most, which I also said and explained.

Learning to communicate is one of the biggest things in a relationship. So you can get some good practice through dating in high school. (Even though I didn't do that.)

Or you can take a communications class.

As cliché as it sounds, there's things to a relationship you can't learn from a textbook.

"If someone comes up to you with a knife, you should scream and run away".

Never heard that cliche
