Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Help?

The input resolution is 1080p 60fps, but when i stop recording it becomes 30fps. can someone help me?

well i dont have a elgato, and from what ive heard hauppauges have the ability to capture in 60fps, and it inputs in 60fps so i'd assume i could actually record in 60fps

idk much about the hd pvr2 but i was under the impression it didn't capture in 60 fps

not exactly
when you actually record it and it goes through the recorder it drops
 
i just looked it up and it says that hauppauge hd pvr 2's can only record 60fps at 720p, so i'll try that and update this with the results

yep, i can 100% confirm that hd pvr 2 can only record 60 fps at 720p resolution, just tested it
